I have to admit that I am not much of a social media person. Many of our Rotary Club 21 members are! I know my 90-year-old mother LOVES Facebook and it has kept her in touch with so many of her friends and family. Over time, I have become a believer!
Rotary Club 21 has an excellent Facebook page and simply search for Rotary Spokane Club 21 and you can join our group and get the latest news and highlights. Please SHARE our regular posts to your contacts. The power of sharing really does make a difference in keeping our Club in front of the community.
Please also post any Rotary happenings that you are engaged in. Post pictures that you may have taken at meetings or activities that you may have attended.
Embrace Facebook as a way to keep active with the Club. I can honestly say that it has made a difference for me.
Today also marks the 40-year anniversary for Mt St. Helens erupting. If you lived through this crazy time, reflect on how those events impacted your life and draw some comparisons to our current COVID-19 Pandemic.
Stay healthy and safe!

The Spokane South and Spokane North clubs are working with Kids Without Borders (KWB) charity. KWB has a large number of products in Sammamish for babies, infants and toddlers … from newborn to 4-5 years old. If anyone is traveling over to the Seattle area before the end of May and would be willing to pick up items in Sammamish and bring them back to Spokane, please reach out to Jeanne Dawes (Rotary South) – jjdawes@goregrewe.com or Lenore Romney (Rotary North) – lenore@romneyforensics.com to coordinate the pick-up. We will put you in contact with the Rotarian in Sammamish who is storing the items. THANK YOU!!
