Honor Flight Volunteer Opportunity

Inland Northwest Honor Flight honors Veterans who served during wartime. Most Veterans who go on Honor Flight now are Vietnam Veterans.  Spokane 21, via a district grant submission, will fund 13 Veterans to go on Honor Flight on October 13-14. Honor Flight needs guardians to chaperone the Veterans on these flights, and Spokane 21 members are welcome to apply as chaperones for this flight.  If you are interested in being a guardian, you can apply via the following link.

4/30/26 Rotary Off the Cuff: Heather Brennan & Adam Brigham-Althoff

What’s one food you could eat every day?

Adam: Homemade lasagna

Heather: Chocolate

Do you typically plan ahead or go with the flow?

Heather: Oh, I’m a planner.

Adam: Planning for sure.

What do you appreciate most about living in Spokane?

Adam: This time of year, Bloomsday, spring, sun comes out, it makes everyone happier.

Heather: Outdoors, mountains, and lakes.

What’s one piece of advice you return to again and again?

Heather: Always do your best.

Adam: I try to be a really good listener. Someone, when I was young, said be a good listener.

When did you join Rotary, and what compelled you to join?

Adam: I joined Rotary in 2019. I moved here from Chicago in 2018, so it was a great way to make Spokane feel smaller.

Heather: I joined last October. My dad (Jim Armstrong) was a huge reason why, but I also like the volunteer opportunities and the service that Rotary does.

Happy Birthday to you!
