Please join me on July 9th for my first meeting as your club president and as we kick off the new Rotary Year. I am grateful to have been elected the next Club 21 President and hope to give justice to your confidence in me and our abilities to work together to grow our membership, make strong friendships with one another, to provide service and support to the community, and to seek inspiration from our fellow Rotarians around the world.
We are all in this together! I will do my best to lead, but also give grace to your visions and aspirations. It is a team effort. Thank you to our Club Administrator, Tami Hennessy, for her steadfast work to keep us all on track. Thank you to the 2026-2027 Board of Directors and Committee Chairs for your commitment to Rotary and your determination to make a difference. This year’s theme, Create Lasting Impact, is apt for an organization that has served our community for over a century but is nimble and able to adapt to a changing world.

RAP Task Force
Interested in shaping the future of our Club? The Board of Directors is looking for a few members to join the Rotary Action Plan (RAP) Task Force to update our Club's Strategic Plan. Whether you are a long-time or newer member, we're interested in your perspective and ideas. Strategic planning experience is a bonus.
On Saturday, August 8th, we will be kayaking the Little Spokane River. The link below will take you to the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation page, where you can sign up to rent a kayak, paddle, and PFD. If you don’t already have one, you will need to create an account. There are several options for kayaking; please use the one titled “Kayak Rentals on the Little Spokane River.”
I have already registered, so there are 10 kayaks available to rent. The cost is $59 plus tax. You can also sign up for the “Shuttle Service Little Spokane River” for an additional $15 plus tax. If you have your own kayak, you can meet us at the starting point.
