Notes from
President Paul

Greetings My Rotary Family!

The Membership Development Committee has been working hard these last few weeks to prepare for the Love Your Rotary Club membership campaign in February.  We asked ourselves two questions and I want to pass these questions on to the members of Rotary Club 21.
  1. How did you get into Rotary?
  2. Why are you a Rotarian?
Now, these two simple questions can lead to a wide range of answers.  I encourage you to write these down and share them with me.  Send me a message with your responses.

I want to know!  paul@virenandassociates.com or
call 509-220-4033.

For me, 1) I was INVITED to join by my lifelong friend Murray Huppin.  He called to invite me to a meeting and that day he complimented me in saying I would be a good Rotarian, that Club 21 would make an impact in my life. And guess what, he was right!  2) Because of the friendships I have made with so many of you and the incredible impact we have made and continue to make in our community and the world.

As you reflect on these questions, please think of your friends and colleagues that you believe would benefit from being a member of Rotary Club 21.  February 6th is the kick-off to our membership campaign and it will be an exciting month!

Enjoy the winter season and beauty we live in each day.

                      Cheers,

Paul S. Viren
Spokane Rotary Club 21, President
