Rotary Club 21 Acts of Kindness (A.o.K) Award Program

We understand that Rotarians don’t do what they do for recognition but we wanted to find a way for club members of Rotary Club 21 to recognize and thank fellow club members for an act, or acts of kindness they do. The rules of this program are:

  • Proposers must use the short, simple web form found on the club website.

  • Award recipients will be drawn in a weekly random drawing from nominations.

  • Recipients will receive recognition from the podium at a regular Thursday meeting, including 250 Paul Harris points toward a Paul Harris Fellow.

  • Recipients will be notified by email and invited to the in-person meeting for their award.

  • The proposer and recipient must both be Club 21 Rotarians in good standing.

  • The proposer must have witnessed the A.o.K.

  • Recipients can only receive the award once.

  • Have Fun with this and bring a smile to someone’s face!

What types of kind acts qualify? Examples of an A.o.K might be:

  • Helping another Rotarian - transporting to a meeting, visiting, calling on them.

  • Devoting time and talent to a community service project.

  • Helping a person in need.

  • Any type of “kindness” you think is meaningful!
