Rotary Club 21 will be kicking off the 2021 - 2022 Rotary year with our new Hybrid meeting format!
Rotary Club 21 to begin hybrid meetings starting July 8, 2021
With hybrid meetings, Rotarians will be able to either continue to attend Rotary Club 21 meetings via Zoom each week OR they can now return to attending in-person meetings at the Spokane Club. Returning the Spokane Club will include our same buffet meal for purchase at $15/Rotarian or $20/Guest.
Please be aware of the following changes to in-person Rotary meetings
To attend a meeting in person Rotarians MUST RSVP no later than the Monday before the meeting by 2:00 PM. Rotarians will be able to RSVP via links on the ‘upcoming speaker’ page of our website or from a link in the Monday morning enews.
Due to spacing limitations, if you do not RSVP and you show up to an in-person Rotary meeting, we will have to turn you away.
When you RSVP you'll have the ability to pre-pay for your lunch. If you are planning to eat lunch please take a moment and use the pre-pay feature as this will help us reduce crowding around the lunch pay station. A lunch purchase station will still be available for Rotarians who change their mind about lunch after arriving.
The Spokane Club’s policy is that vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a mask. If you haven’t been vaccinated yet please mask up if attending Rotary in person. We’ll be doing our best at social distancing so please be prepared for possible changes in traffic flow as you enter the meeting. Many club members have notified us that they are fully vaccinated however we will not be supervising individual vaccination records. Please follow the four-way test when considering masking and attending.
For the time being, we will be using pre-printed peel and stick name badges. They will be placed in the usual badge location and organized by last name. This is temporary while we get back into the swing of things.
Just like converting to Zoom full-time was new, uncharted territory we are excited to provide a hybrid meeting option to our members and we appreciate everyone’s support and patience while we work out any flaws we may stumble upon.
